Personalized Therapy for Individuals, Couples, and Families
Clients often ask me, “How do you work?”
It’s a thoughtful question—and not always simple to answer—because my approach is personalized and responsive to each client’s unique needs.
No two people are exactly alike, and your therapy shouldn’t be either. Whether you’re seeking support as an individual, as a couple, or as a parent, I tailor each session to meet you where you are—with compassion, insight, and practical tools for change.
A Thoughtful, Flexible Approach
I draw from a range of clinical theories and techniques, including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – helping you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns
- Solution-Focused Therapy – emphasizing strengths and immediate goals for positive change
- Family Systems Theory – exploring relationship patterns within your family, past and present
- Psychodynamic Therapy – bringing awareness to unconscious patterns and attachment history
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples – a research-supported model for deepening emotional connection and healing relationship distress
- Parenting Expertise gained in over a decade of teaching Parenting classes at Babies First Class in Los Angeles and having been trained by the renowned Parenting Expert, Jackie Rosenberg.
I also continue to study new and innovative techniques, which enrich and evolve my work as a therapist. Ongoing education is one of the ways I remain deeply committed to my clients’ growth—and my own.
My Style
My style is collaborative, thoughtful, and flexible. Depending on what the moment calls for, I may be more active and directive—offering clear reflections, guidance, or tools. At other times, I’ll be a quiet, grounded presence—holding space for deep emotion, insight, or grief.
Above all, you can expect therapy that is:
- Compassionate and nonjudgmental
- Respectful of your pace and your story
- Centered around real connection and emotional safety
- Honest, encouraging, and oriented toward healing
I will offer solace, a calming voice, and a sense of peace when you may need it most.
